"As many as 70 world records - and only this year. This is the achievement of a Polish team, the existence of which is known to a small group of people. This team does not have such huge resources as the staffs from the USA or China, and yet it successfully competes with them, surpassing them in subsequent achievements. However, it is not about sports competition. We are talking about algorithms and a global optimization race.
Otimo sets 71 world records and triumphs in the global optimization race
Optimization algorithms by Otimo set 71 world records this year. Although the Brazilian institute Galgos, which keeps a register of such records, receives submissions from teams all around the world, this year no one can match the results of the company from Lodz.
