For the second time, Otimo had the pleasure of being a partner of the report dedicated to e-commerce logistics, prepared by the think-tank <\/strong>the Polish Institute of Road Transport<\/strong><\/a>. This time, the authors of the report focus on the analysis of the current situation and forecasts for the near future in terms of, among others: KEP market, reverse logistics, ecology and optimization algorithms.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Three days. This is the average delivery time expected by consumers in Europe and the US. Moreover, 41% of respondents would like to have the opportunity to use the so-called Q-commerce (quick commerce), i.e. deliveries between 10 minutes and a few hours after purchase - not only for groceries, but also for all online purchases. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2023, as many as 79% of people using the Internet declared that they buy online. E-commerce has an increasingly larger piece of the pie, which is related to the development of technology and changes in consumer habits. Customers value convenience and a holistic shopping experience. They expect increasingly faster and hassle-free deliveries, which poses huge challenges for sellers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
